Ingredients
- 1kg diced chicken thighs
- 200g roughly diced streaky bacon
- 12 whole shallots
- 200g diced Swiss brown mushrooms
- 3 diced carrots
- 500ml red wine
- 1 tin diced tomatoes (400g)
Method:
Follow these easy steps:-
Heat 1 tsbp of oil in a pan.
Brown chicken, bacon and shallots before adding to a slow cooker with the remaining ingredients, including the contents of this jar rinsed out with the wine. Stir to combine.
Cook on high for 2.5 hours or low for 5 hours.
Serve with mash potato, green beans and crusty bread.
